New Photos from Binder Twine! (March)
Thursday, March 19th, 2009It seems like I haven’t written here forever, probably because it’s true. I’m enjoying March Break. I’ve said this many times, but I think spring has finally arrived, and I mean it this time. I was walkng to my friend’s house the other day and I actually took of my jacket because it was so warm. That doesn’t happen in winter, and I’m not complaining. I love warm weather.
Last Sunday I went up to Binder Twine Park in Kleinburg, yet again. I love that park, even after walking its trails at least a dozen times. As an understatement, I’ll say that the trail/park/area was a bit too muddy for my tastes. I should have worn boots, but since it was warm, I decided to wear old sneakers with small holes at the side. Bad idea. As a consequence I didn’t walk the whole path because I could feel my socks getting wet, and I knew it wasn’t from water.
I snapped a few photos to add to my Binder Twine Park Photos collection. The photos lack much life or color, I know. The park felt pretty damn dead when I was walking through it. At least in winter, the whiteness of the snow made it all “Winter Wonderland”-like. In March, that snow has melted and not-so-green grass is revealed. Along with a hell of a lot of mud. The only significant color in these photos is blue, because the sky is very reliable.
Check out the photos. A dead park has some nice finds.
